The Whole Teacher
The Whole Teacher is dedicated to helping school communities meet the wellness needs of their teachers. By helping schools think creatively about scheduling and space, while listening deeply to the unmet needs of our educators, we provide job-embedded wellness services that would otherwise be inaccessible to teachers. We believe that in order to retain happy, healthy, well-balanced educators, we must tend to educators' personal well-being, not just their professional development. The Whole Teacher brings together schools, community organizations, and health professionals to elevate the lives of our educators and create culture of wellness that impact teachers, students, and school communities.

School
Taking care of employees is one of the most effective retention strategies any company can utilize. The Whole Teacher helps schools create a culture of support that decreases spending on substitute teachers and teacher replacement, increases teacher engagement and satisfaction, and helps retain staff.
Teacher
When we increase access to health and wellness programming we also increase teacher happiness and effectiveness. Prioritizing teacher health increases opportunities for organic communities to form and increases morale. Teachers that are healthier and able to achieve balance in their lives are more effective in the classroom and have increased job satisfaction.
Student
Students deserve healthy teachers. Creating cultures of wellness allows teachers to sustain the energy, focus, and support they need to focus on student needs. Our programs positively influence classroom and school culture, creating more conducive learning environments for students to thrive.
